Spring 2010
Hello everyone!
We are so excited to start the season here at
Lost Lake Lodge. The weather has been wonderful and we can’t wait to
see everyone. April was rather odd. We actually had 70 degree
weather, while May was extremely rainy, usually it’s the opposite.
We have been very busy preparing the resort, cutting grass, trimming
trees, and thinking of new clues for the medallion hunt. And our
housekeeping staff has been getting the cabins ready for the season.
Also this year, we added a challenge to our menu. Bring your
appetite; there is now a 34 oz. porterhouse steak available. If
finished entirely, you will receive a wonderful t-shirt that says,
“I ATE THE WHOLE (picture of a cow)! Good Luck.
This June we
have a special running from the first through the seventeenth, so if
your schedule allows it please call us for more details. The rate
for our June Super Saver Special is only $99 per adult and $49 per
child (11-15) per night, children 10 and under is free. We also have
other great specials available on the packages section of our
website.
On a sad note, one of our long time staff members
will not be back this season. Bethany, our Guest Service Manager has
decided to leave us to spend more time with her young children.
Steve Kostohryz will be taking over her position. He is local to the
Brainerd Lakes Area and has been involved in the hospitality
industry for many years. We welcome him to the Lost Lake Lodge
family.
Once again, we are so excited to see everyone
returning to our lodge this year, as well as all of the new guests
about to visit us here at Lost Lake Lodge.
Doug & Pat Lewis,
and all the Lost Lake Lodge staff!
