Hello and Happy Spring!
We are so happy that our winter is over and the Lodge is now open!
The weather has been mild, the trees are just starting to bud, and
the ice has been off the lakes for a while now. Eric & Harry have
been busy on the resort grounds, Betty and the housekeeping staff
have been getting the cabins cleaned and ready for our first guests
of the season and Chef Smith is, as we write this newsletter,
smoking salmon and baking popovers. This season is sure to be
delicious!
Eric had some fun with our favorite Lost Lake residents this spring
when he put out the nesting platform for our returning loons. They
followed under and alongside the boat and couldn’t even wait for him
to put it in place before they hopped up and started to nest. We are
all looking forward to seeing them and a new baby loon this summer!
If
you don’t have any spring plans, Memorial Day weekend is coming up
soon and we’re offering a $100.00 discount on our three night
special family package. Lodging for two adults and two children, a
full lodge breakfast each morning, our four-course dinner each
evening, a supervised children’s program, and all of our resort
amenities for only $899.00! In addition to this wonderful Memorial
Weekend package we have a variety of packages that offer many
different vacation options all at a reduced rate!
