
I developed a passion for food at a very early age while
helping my mother bake bread. This love influenced me to
pursue a career as a professional chef. Under many chefs
watchful eyes I progressed from a Dishwasher, Prep Cook,
Line Cook, and Sous Chef up to an Executive Chef in a short
period of time. I grew up right here in Northern Minnesota
and have over 20 years experience in the food industry so I
understand what it takes to deliver quality food.
My career has led me in several directions. I have worked as
a Personal Chef for individuals in their homes, as an
Executive Chef for restaurants and resorts in the Brainerd
Lakes Area and as a consultant in the foodservice industry,
and some of you may recognize me as one of the Assistant
Chefs from right here at Lost Lake Lodge. These experiences
along with many continuing education courses at the Culinary
Institute of American in Hyde Park, New York have led me to
my current position as Executive Chef at Lost Lake Lodge.
I
enjoy preparing any style of food and we at Lost Lake Lodge
strive to obtain the freshest ingredients available to
enhance your dining experience. Using our own herb garden
and local farmer markets gives us the opportunity to create
an excellent meal with the highest quality ingredients
available.
