|
| Lost Lake Lodge is one of the Brainerd Lakes Area’s best
family hideouts and romantic retreats. But don’t just take
our word for it. Here’s what other people have to say: |

Fodor’s
“On 80 forested acres beside a private lake, these cabins
are a quiet family hideaway in one of the state’s most
popular recreational regions. Owners Doug and Pat Lewis have
retained the longtime ambiance while adding some modern
amenities, such as in-cabin air conditioners. The lodge’s
culinary past shines in meals made as much as possible with
produce from local sources, including an herb garden off the
kitchen. You might have wild rice pancakes, risotto made with

"...away from the area's vacation crowds, 80 acres of
pine woods hide a spring fed jewel: Lost Lake and this small
relaxed retreat." |

"A meal at The Lodge is worth the drive from the farthest
reaches of the region. Each evening the resort offers a
selection of creative dishes.” |

"You are right in the middle of the Brainerd Lakes area
action if you want to be, or amongst nature, away from it
all. It has wonderful cabins with the 'Up North rustic'feel,
but all of the modern amenities. It is so wonderful to have
all meals prepared for you and housekeeping services like
the big resorts, but the nice peacefulness of a small
resort. It truly does allow you to wind down from the hustle
and bustle of everyday life." |

Minnesota Monthly
"On a quiet day late in the season, the lodge is suffused
with the delicious smells of a carrot cake in the oven, so
much so that a hungry visitor feels himself almost a part of
the baking process, just another little walnut ensconced in
the mix. |
